Winston's Wish advice on recent attacks

Responding To Tragic Events
Our team have been on hand to provide advice, guidance and support for anyone impacted by the tragic events in the UK over the past month.

For both the Manchester and London attacks, we issued briefings with information for anyone seeking to explain the attacks to their children. We've also been on hand to provide support to families directly affected by the events.

Our Helpline has also been answering any questions people may have about these conversations, whilst Winston's Wish has been featured heavily in the media talking about supporting children after the attacks, including BBC News, This Morning and BBC Radio 5 Live.

Rebekah Lawson, our Area Manager for the North West, was invited by Prince William to meet members of the community who responded to the attacks in Manchester. We were delighted that Rebekah was able to attend and share an insight into some of the work that we do.

More information about talking to children about tragic events can be found on our website or by calling our Freephone National Helpline on 08088 020 021 (Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm).
